A Hallandale Beach Commissioner sounding off on the director of the Broward Animal Care facility in Ft. Lauderdale. Hallandale Beach Commissioner Michelle Lazarow holding a public meeting tonight to discuss Director Emily Wood who she accuses of violating county code by turning animals away from the taxpayer funded facility, saying there is simply no space. She says the refusal to accept the pets puts municipalities at risk because they have to create temporary shelters or will wind up animals on the streets.
